Camp Size: Camp is small with a camper: counselor ratio of approximately 8:1 to allow for personal instruction
Ability Level: This camp will provide a fun environment for players of all levels including beginners. The goal of this camp is for your child to have fun, improve on the basic vocabulary, concepts, and fundamentals of basketball while making friends, exercising and gaining confidence. Although a half day option exists for this week, the camp is designed with the full day camper in mind.
Daily Schedule - Tentative – Breaks included as needed
8:00-9:00 Shooting Clinic 12:00-12:40 Lunch Break
9:00-9:20 Rise & Shine 12:40-1:00 Competitions
9:20-10:00 Pass, Dribble, Shoot 1:00-1:40 Defensive Fundamentals
10:00-10:20 2 on 1, 3 on 2 1:40-2:10 Triple Threat
10:20-10:40 Lecture 2:10-2:40 Playing Together
10:40-11:00 Team Practice 2:40-3:20 3 on 3
11:00-11:50 5 on 5 3:20-3:30 Afternoon Review & Pick-up
11:50-12:00 Morning Review 3:45-5:00 Scrimmage, Video, Competitions & Skill Work
Camp sessions are conducted Indoors (AIR CONDITIONED) & possibly Outdoors
Lower baskets and smaller basketballs will be used to develop confidence when appropriate.
A variety of competitions will be incorporated throughout the day.
Lunch: Campers are required to bring their own lunch. Refrigeration is available. Beverages will be sold.
Gym doors open at 8:00am. Camp ends at 5:00pm. All Campers are to be picked up no later than 5:15pm.
Camp Pricing:
$290 for payments received by March 31
$370 for payments received after March 31
